Local materials have been used in the construction of the lodges, such as Anjanojano stone, the trunks of fallen trees and coconut or ravinala (Traveler palm) leaves. The innovative architecture of these beachfront lodges allows air to circulate freely, thanks to a ravinala roof and a tented canopy with large openings protected by mosquito nets. A Dyson fan will provide you fresh air on demand, without the inconvenience and nuisance of air conditioning.

A spectacular bathroom opens out onto a terrace where residents can enjoy massage and other beauty treatments (each lodge is equipped with a massage table in the privacy of the garden).
The bedroom also has its own private balcony, an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the ocean-view.

The decor, conceived by talented stylist Frédérique Glainereau, combines elegant design and furniture made from precious woods, in a consciously ethnic and sustainable style.
The lodges are equipped with every comfort, each with a king size rosewood bed, enveloped by a full, beautifully embroidered mosquito net, a work area with an ocean-view, a safe and minibar.

Eden Lodge is one of those places that you'll find hard to forget. A pristine, secluded beach on your doorstep, with crystal clear water, coral and turtles in abundance. Also a forest behind you, with lemurs, chameleons, birds, flowers and a wealth of amazing Malagasy flora. Beyond the hotel, there are islands to explore, awesome diving spots and more lemurs. The local staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Malagasy hospitality at its finest - particular mention to Philip, the resident guide and naturalist. And Ouirdane: Katra and Petanque mentor; master mixologist of Mojitos.

What makes this place really work is the combination of stunning location, the luxurious "tents" ( imported from South Africa) and the quality of the staff . There are only 8 "lodge tents" and a lovely airy dining room / bar , and everything look onto that wonderful beach. Safe swimming and snorkelling with turtles ever present, feeding on the weed before the coral reef is reached. Brown lemurs are abundant in the trees in and around the lodge and are seen every day . There are some impressive baobabs in the lush grounds and some interesting bats and birds in abundance. Phillip the knowledgeable guide shows you around and also take you on a hike into the hills behind . The watersports facilities are kayak... paddleboard... windsurfing... hobbie cat and snorkelling ( all free of charge and with good equipment) . The food is excellent and varied, and the massages are of a very high standard & the barman knows how to make a good cocktail! Joel the Manager is really helpful.
