7 Nights at Sangany Beach Lodge, Nosy Be, Madagascar

Day One: Arrive at Nosy Be, Madagascar airport and transfer to Sangany Lodge in time for a refreshing swim, shower and dinner.

Day Two: Relax for the day at the lodge with breakfast, lunch and dinner and a massage to unwind.

Day Three: After breakfast depart for a full day excursion with lunch to the picture postcard Nosy Iranja where you can wander through the delightful village, walk the 750 sandy spit at low tide which creates one island out of two and walk up to the lighthouse built by Gustav Eiffel. Swim and snorkel with turtles before returning to Sangany Lodge in time for sundowners and dinner.

Day Four: A half day excursion today with lunch to the nearby sacred Nosy Fanihy for some great snorkelling. Ask at the lodge for the three rules of visiting this little island! Return to Sangany Lodge in time for dinner.

Day Five: Another day to just chill and perhaps enjoy a short guided walk to the nearby village. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included today.

Day Six: Another full day excursion that will take you first to the Marine Reserve of Nosy Tanikely. More incredible snorkelling as well as a walk up to the light house (might see some lemurs on the way up) followed by a visit to Nosy Komba for a bit of retail therapy and a visit to their lemur park. Dinner will be waiting for you after your shower at Sangany Lodge.

Day Seven: This day is at leisure but does include breakfast, lunch and dinner. Perhaps enjoy another massage on the beach before packing up to go home.

Day Eight: Transfer back to Nosy Be Airport with a packed lunch from Sangany Lodge.

I would just like to thank you for arranging the trip of a lifetime. I cannot fathom how Madagascar exceeded all expectations I had of an island holiday for me and my partner, from the moment we arrived to our unfortunate return home. My only qualm would have been to extend our holiday further. 

I would like to commend our host from Sangany Lodge Yvonne. Yvonne you made our stay a monumental memory for years to come. We will never forget your hospitality, your mouth watering cuisine, your friendly staff who always had a smile on their faces and an eagerness to please.

I will and always will encourage anyone to visit Madagascar and certainly visit Yvonne at Sangary Lodge, I assure you it is destination of unforgettable memories and experiences. 

In and old saying " You only live once" in my opinion you haven't lived until you visit Madagascar.

I would just like to sincerely thank everyone who made our experience so memorable, you will certainly be seeing us soon
